Check a Korean Clinic: Identity, Registration and Accreditation

Registration, professional licensing and accreditation answer different questions. None alone guarantees a treatment outcome or confirms that a procedure suits you.

Confirm identity

  • Request the clinic's legal Korean name, branch address and responsible clinician's name.
  • Ask whether your contact works for the clinic or for a separate agency.

Check the stated status

  • Use official Medical Korea registration guidance for foreign-patient attraction registration.
  • Check any KAHF claim separately for the correct institution and current validity. Ask the relevant authority about unresolved licensing questions.

Resolve differences before paying

  • Compare names and addresses on the quote, consent documents and official information.
  • A missing search result can be a naming or lookup problem. Clarify the discrepancy; do not treat it as proof of illegality.
