Contact a clinician immediately for increasing redness or pain, wound drainage, or fever after a procedure. Do not wait until your flight home.
Get emergency help when needed
- In Korea, call 119 for severe breathing difficulty, new confusion, or difficulty waking after a procedure.
- These are examples, not a complete checklist. Get immediate help if you feel seriously unwell or are deteriorating rapidly.
Arrange an assessment
- Tell the clinician the procedure date, symptoms and changes. A photo or message cannot rule out infection.
- Do not start leftover antibiotics or drain a wound yourself. Follow the clinician's treatment and wound-care instructions.
Confirm follow-up before travel
- Ask which symptoms require another urgent review and where to go outside clinic hours.
- Keep procedure records and medicine details. Confirm whether worsening symptoms change your travel plan before leaving.
